Dr. Anne Uings is a retired medical doctor who has lived with Lyme Disease for over 25 years.

She has spent much of this time learning about the disease. Anne volunteers with the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation and is a member of ILADS - The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society, for Professionals dealing with Lyme Disease.

Hosted by the Georgian Bluffs Climate Action Team, who meet monthly to discuss such issues.

Everyone welcome to this important talk.

• Come and learn about ticks: the different species, how to identify them, their life history and ways to prevent bites.
• Inform yourself about the contraction, symptoms, treatment etc. of this disease.
• Discover the impact of climate change on these disease carrying ticks which has increased their population density and broadened their habitat.
